Bodega Bay Inn

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Bodega Bay Inn! We stayed in the Bay View room, which is located in a house nestled in the trees, with a lovely view of the bay (as the name suggests!). We especially enjoyed the deck right outside the room, and the hot tub a few steps below the deck. The bed was SO comfortable and we both felt peaceful as soon as we walked into our room. One sweet touch was an origami swan on one of the bed pillows, with some chocolates. Ted (manager and owner) is friendly and helpful. He and his family have created a beautiful ambiance at the inn, with a distinctly "family" feel. We feel fortunate to have discovered this gem, and will definitely be back!”

“Such a special stay! We absolutely loved our time at the Bodega Bay Inn. Located a perfect spot—right off Highway 1 and surrounded by great little local shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. We stayed in Room #14, which was amazing. Super clean, full of natural light, and the bed was incredibly comfy with great quality bedding. The wraparound deck was the real star though—gorgeous views and the sound of waves crashing in the background! The grounds are beautiful too—lush greenery, blooming flowers, and lots of little tucked-away sitting areas that made it feel really peaceful and thoughtfully designed. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and welcoming—he even showed us around and walked us to our room. And we loved the friendly cat who clearly runs the place! Highly recommend staying here! can't wait to come back!”

“The owner, Ted, and all of the hosts are so lovely. They are so accommodating and kind, always quick to meet guests’ needs. Location is perfect, just a short drive from the beach and many great, easy walking/hiking trails. Lots of good restaurants also in close proximity. Parking is good, and there’s a delicious coffee shop/bakery, a few cute shops and a Greek restaurant next door. Rooms are kept clean, with cable, heater, and all your needs met. Not to mention, it’s dog friendly and they have the cutest patios for some of the rooms, making it a great place to hang out and relax. Excellent place to stay! Been here twice now, in ~2022 and 2026, and upkeep has not changed. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Overall an excellent experience. Staff is incredibly friendly---nice to stay in a family run business. Room is a bit small, though I was warned about that. And could probably use a little updating, but was fine. Was nice to be able to get a pet friendly room only a few days before the weekend. I'm guessing that other room options that didn't accomodate pets would have been larger. Great location for exploring the Bodega Bay and Jenner area. Didn't hear any noise from HW1 traffic. Would be happy to return.”

“We have been here several times. We think the rooms are nice. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The staff is so friendly and accommodating.my favorite thing is they have a great kitchen area with complimentary tea and coffee. Great place to stay.”
